China Automotive Innovation Corporation(hereinafter referred to as "CAIC") was founded with a total investment of RMB 16 billion by China FAW Group Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Motor Corporation, China South Industries Group, Changan Auto, and Nanjing Jiangning Jingkai Technology Service Co., Ltd. CAIC has engaged in the R&D of forward-looking, generic, platform-based, and core technologies and products, as well as industry incubation based on the "vehicle terminal + cloud terminal + communication terminal" ecosystem, with a focus on three business fields of intelligent chassis, new energy power, and intelligent networking.
